A meeting was arranged at school with the board of governors for myself and my 14 yr old daughter, I could not attend and the meeting with the panel went ahead with my daughter and no parents present. Is this able to go on without my presence.

I work in a College and often have to call students/parents in for disciplinary hearings. We make it clear that should they fail to turn up, the hearing will still go ahead without them and this happens quite often.
What was the outcome of the meeting?
