Job interview/Parking ticket
Hi,
Would like to hear your opinions on this. I went to a group interview today. Have never been to one before. I bought one hour's parking and displayed my ticket. The interview turned out to be two hours in duration and, of course, I returned to a parking ticket on the windscreen.
Already not impressed with the recruitment agency, for being the least knowledgeable about the job role(s), I have also mentioned my parking ticket on the voicemail of the recruitment consultant. Am I right to ask if the company will write me a letter to the council saying I was in a job interview, to try getting off the ticket? Or is this wrong?
It's sod's law. I pay an hour and usually am in an interview for 15 minutes. This time I was unlucky, however.
Please note, I am not asking for the recruitment agency or the recruiting company to pay the fine, I am just asking whether I should see if the company/agency will try help me off the ticket.

Plead poverty, which is why you where attending an interview in the first place (Need money to pay for parking ticket, need job to get money).
Be nice!! Charming!! Grovel!!
You never know, the person dealing with it might take pity on you, coz it is a judgement call from them.
