I've had my driving license for 14 years. I used to live in a remote area when I used to drive, moved to the city and was a bit scared to drive; I have not driven since then, is my license still legal?

yes, but it would be sensible to have a few lessons if you intend driving again
Your spelling indicates that you may be American. This is a UK site. You are welcome here, but the law may be different in the US. In the UK, bednobs answer is correct.
Check the expiry date on the licence, mine expired 10 years after I turned 17
