purcahsed a car in jan 06 and finance was with welcome (i have v poor credit) car was fine and happy with it,but did need a bigger car as im a childminder, anyhooo get a call from my local welcome showroom in jan this yr to say i could get an upgarde, cut a long story short i go and look for a zafira and get duped into signing a contract for DOUBLE the monthly amount i was paying before,i was told by the sales man (who had lied and said he was the manager!) that the monthlya mount i was signing for was the 65 per week we had agreed but because it was worked out over a 52wk period it shows up more per month on the finance agreement. yes i know how thick am i?!
anyway the car was a total disaster, and after 3 weeks of problems with it and letters and calls to welcome i finnaly got another zafira which altho runs ok and appears to be an ok car,i have signed a credit aggreement for double what i thought i would be paying. i have told welcome that i cant make the monthly payments and am already behind after only 2 months. i want to return the car and pay the consequences in court because i feel so angry with them for dupeing me, and myself for being so damm stupid.
what can i do?

Hi, i know you posted this a while ago, but if you haven't sorted it, here goes. A friend of mine had problems repaying his monthly car finance payments. He told them they could have the car back & they came & took it. debt written off, however, this did affect his credit status. If you ask them to do this, do it asap as even if they do take car back, they may pursue you for payments you have not made while the car was in your possession. Good luck
