very old caution

i was caught shoplifting 14 years ago in a moment of madness. prior to that i was a model person, but i was caught and received a caution for a first offence. will this show up on any police checks and would i have to tell a future employer?i was 28 at the time and going through a bad time.

I think you will find that it has been removed from your record
