Why do garages fasten seat belts?
Why do garages fasten the seat belts when they have done work on your car? I took mine in to have the rear reversing sensors checked and when I got it back the rear seal belts had all been fastened. The work wouldn't have involved even going into the back seating area I don't suippose!

They are just fishing for extra work most of the time so be careful.

This will probably be a safety check but it is a good idea to keep your rear seat belts fastened when nobody is in the rear as the flimsy clips that hold the rear seats in place might not be enough to stop heavy goods carried in the boot from hitting you in the back of the head and causing serious injury in the event of an emergency stop or accident
