shop trading hours

does anyone know what the legal position is regarding shop trading hours on a bank holiday.....i.e. can they open for as long as they like or are there restrictions?

AFAIK there are no restrictions. It is possible there are some for larger shops (like Sundays) but not for smaller ones.
