A friend has broken up with his girlfriend and wants her out of his house. She is refusing, they have been there for coming up 6 months. Their relationship has broken up but she is refusing to move out.

The mortgage and all bills are in his name. She lent him some deposit money to buy the flat, which he has paid back to her in full, with an additional 5,000 to cover the contribution/rent she paid while they lived there. She owns no furniture or substantial items within the flat, has done no decoration or spent anything on the place, it is purely her, her clothes and a few personal possessions within the flat.

What can he do to get her out? He has rented whole house out and tenants are due to move in very soon!

Wait until she goes out and change the locks. Dump her stuff in the street.
yep, toss her out. It sounds as though she has been well compensated for having to live with a bloke who is thick enough to let her stay

Thank you - I think he'll do that, just hope he avoids a criminal damage suit by ditching her stuff!
