Transfer of Mortgage

My husband and I seperated after 16 years of married life due to him having two affairs. We both bought our own homes after selling the maritol home. My husband asked for forgiveness after a short time away and I forgave him. In Sep 06 I sold my home and put all the equity into a joint family home and he put nothing in but kept his small terrace house as a nest egg for both of us for the future. After only 4 weeks of moving into the new home with our three children he embarked on his third affair and moved in with her in Jan 07. My question now is does he have any right to the equity that I put from my home into the new home?? I now wish to divorce him on the grounds of adultry and would like to know how I can put the new home into my name only??
