what should I do now?
3 Answers
Yesterday I posted a question in this section 'who is at fault' see a few posts down. when I phoned the woman up this morning to get her insurance details off her she said that she could not give them to me as she had just renewed her insurance and didn't have any paper work.Does anybody think that this is just a bit dodgy or some coincidence that her insurance was up for renewel the same date she crashed into my car. I told her that I would ring her up on Monday to get the details but if she can't give them to me then, should I go to the police. I have only been driving for just over a year and have never had an accident before so dont really know what I have got to do?

Report the accident to the police - date/time/street/car reg details of both parties etc and get a report number. Give this number to your insurance company and yes let them do the rest. Perhaps she was making up a story as she didn't have any insurance in which case the police will want to know about it !
