Living Wills - witnesses needed?
Do Living Wills require one or two witnesses to validate them? If so, can one of the witnesses be a spouse who might be the most relevant person to make a difficult decision in the case of a need for resussitation?

I asked my doctor about this some time ago. She told me that I could actually write down my wishes and she would put them on my records and they would be "taken into consideration" if a situation arose but a living will is not legally binding and doctors will still attempt resus and so on BUT will heed your own personal choice into the treatment that they give you. I guess its a case of leaving your wishes and hoping for a sympathetic doctor who may reduce life saving medication etc., I am sure if I had an incureable disease and made a living will saying "DNR" I am sure the hospital would act on this
