I have recently split with my partner who is the mother of my lovely son. We were not married. I would love to see him as often as possible but she says I will never see him again. I'd look after him myself if the law would let me, but right now he lives with her. What can I do?

She cannot stop you seeing your son - although you may have to go to court to force the issue.

This is of course assuming there is no reason why you should not have contact - drug addict and so forth.
