Compensation Claim

My house flooded for 8 months with sewage while the water company denied responsibility. Now it seems we can prove it was the sewer which they have repsonsibility for which caused it.

In addition to material costs and losses how much can I expect to claim for emotional stress for those months. Believe me being flooded is tressful, and being flooded for 8 months from the floor up is incredibly stressful.

I don't know how to put a price on it so any poiniters would be great thanks.

hmm think about it like ths - imagine if i said �2000 - would you be pleased or upset with that? Your gut feeling will give you a guide as to how much to ask for.
Incidentally, what flooding dosent happen from the floor up?
