Is it right that there is a law comming in about not being able to smoke whilst you are driving??

i heard this too.it law in states i think.
The law has not changed. The Highway Code is merely pointing out methods which should be avoided if you want to show, in the event of, say, an accident investigation that you were completely in charge of the vehicle. How many times have you seen some stupid woman trying to park a car in a supermarket car park while on here mobile phone and with a fag between here fingers? Speaks for itself. These people are a danger to all of us.

This law already exists in respect of PCV Drivers (bus drivers). It is an offence to smoke whilst driving a PCV Vehicle.

The new legislation relates to Company vehicles and taxis etc under the smoking bans now operating across the UK - Ironically, if you reside in a council house you are required to refrian from smoking up to a specified time if council officials are due to visit !
