probation officer anyone???!?

I'm in my second last year at school and I have my mind set on working as a probation officer or a police liason officer. I've searched on every website at home and at school now I was just wondering if anyone has similar jobs or advice???

Have a look at their website to get an idea of qualifications needed and what the job entails. Many probation officers, though not all, have degrees.

Just came back to this site recently. Massive changes going on in the Probation Service. Put into your search engine NAPO (Nation Association of Probation Officers) and go their forum on the left and read. You will get some useful information (about the day to day tasks of an officer) from this website. Personally, I would train to be a Social Worker. This would give you more scope and opportunities for the future. Good Luck.
