Mother committed suicide to be with her dead daughter
A woman committed suicide to be with her daughter who was killed by a train. The woman died on the same stretch of rail track that her daughter was found on. The daughter had threatened to take her life after finding out her boyfriend was seeing another girl, she was later found dead near a rail track. The mother was a strong believer in the after life and was worried her daughter would be there alone. Her husband commented that she was only doing what was best for her daughter by wanting to look after her. What do you think? Was this the right thing the clearly grief stricken woman should have done? What about leaving her husband? Do you think faith will get this man through the worst tragedies a person could ever experience?

Clearly very mixed up people, including the surviving husband.
Any faith that condones taking a life, including your own, is reprehensible.
She obviously had no christian thought of the poor train driver who saw her splatted over the front of his train. Selfish.
Shouldn't this be in the Religious bollox section?

who knows what she was thinking at the time, they have just made a verdict that the girl was accidently killed while trying to get to her blokes, even though she had told the blokes mothers that if she couldnt see him she would kill herself, there has been a suicide verdict placed on the mother though.
i think its relevant because the coroner inquest was yesterday.
i just think the mother was racked with pain and sorrow about the loss of her daughteer.
wether or not she with her .
when she died her last thought was that shed be with her .
after that noone knows for sure.
for those that say its the cowards way out i think thats wrong.
sometimes it seeems the only way.
hopefully the father gets thru this terrible time .

I agree with 4get & legend.
Anyone who hasn't been through the loss of a daughter or son ~ especially in such tragic circumstances ~ could never put themselves in that womans place and feel the anguish she felt.
I cannot imagine life without my kids. As I have four of them I think I would carry on living for their sakes if something happened to one of them. However this poor woman had one daughter, and having lost another due to stillbirth this pain was far too much to take.
I hope she was right and that she is with her daughter now. And I feel for her husband who has been left behind.
