Brazillian Police - A few questions I need answers for soon!

I'm a Police Cadet for the Metropolitan Police Service, and I am in dire need for information on the following of the Brazillian Police;
1. Do they get a pension?
2. What is their salary?
3. What hours do they work?
4. Do they work shifts?
5. Can they be sacked if they do wrong in the eyes of the law etc?
6. What is the Retirement Age?
7. Do the majority of Police stay in the Force or do they leave?
8. Do any speak of the reasons why they left if they did?

I know it's a reallllly long list, but I need information ASAP. It's for a presentation we are doing in Cadets, and I can't find any English translations for the information I need! I really appreciate it for those who help.

Why not be bold and suggest to your employers that the questions you are being asked to answer will not immediately improve your efficiency as a serving police officer and as such should not be included in the curriculum?

I haven't the foggiest idea of the answers to any of your questions, but I do know the answers to this list of alternatives you may suggest they ask you to enquire about. They may not improve your efficiency but they may help you understand why the public are frustrated:

In the Metropolitan Police, what percentage of their time on duty do constables spend on the streets?

How long does it take a Metropolitan Police officer to process an arrested shoplifter?

How many forms does the above process involve?

What percentage of reported burglaries in the MP area results in an arrest?

What percentage of those arrests result in a conviction?

How long on average does it take the MP to execute an arrest warrant issued by a court?

What percentage of those warrants goes unexecuted?

How does asking police cadets to research the pay and conditions of a South American police force contribute to their effectiveness as a police officer in London?

There a five law enforcement institutions 'police' in Brazil, maybe ask them which one in particular them mean.

Seriously, I dont have any answers but have a look at this, maybe follow up the references at the bottom and the links within the artilce although you could be looking for a needle in a haystck.

Police Cadet?..........I want to know more. Is the Met the only Force who have cadets these days? I thought they'd all been scrapped.
