wait for what? if you were cautioned it means you accepted guilt.

Sorry if it was not to clear I was interviewed under caution. I denied the alleged offence. question is how long do I wait ,to know if I am going to be charged. Is there a time limit
There is a time limit of six months from the date of the alleged offence to "lay an information" (that is, to start proceedings) at the magistrates' court for "summary" offences. (Almost all motoring offences are "summary" - that is they can only be dealt with at the magistrates' court).
