Norman has a poor track record when it comes to answering questions on motoring law. Trust your solicitor, not Norman because (unsurprisingly) your solicitor knows the law.
The legislation states your 'probationary period' lasts from two years from the date on which you became a 'qualified driver'. It further states that you become a qualified driver on the date on which you
first pass a driving test. It then goes on to state that your probationary period ends early if, after having had your licence revoked for acquiring 6 points, you then pass another test.
