Tesco gift jobbies

Right, first off I have absolutely no problem with Tesco as a corporation, even though I know we're all supposed to think it's the devil, blah, blah, blah...
BUT... The Tesco version of Oxfam Unwrapped really has ****** me off. The idea behind the charities doing it, I think, is pretty damn good. But a superpowered supermarket? Excuse me, but why don't they just bloody DONATE some money. Add to the fact that it's down to places like Tesco using unfair trading that the people they're supposedly helping are struggling to find their way out of the poverty trap...
Anyway, rant over. I just wanted to know other peoples views on the matter. Would you do it through Tesco? Do you think they're actually doing good?
AND, as a final thought, I know we live in a capitalist culture but they only give half the money you pay to the chuffing charities anyway!
