I am the executor of my dad's estate. I have been asked a question by the powers that be about his finances. I have a back up disk he made shortly before he died with his Money (.mny) and the Back up file (.mbf)

I don't have a copy of Money - does anybody know anyway to read them?

I am not aware of any other programs that can read .mny files.

You will either have to buy Money or trust somebody who has it to print it off for you.

I have an old version.

Thanks Ethel - I did a Google search and could not come up with anything - even the trial version of Money is US only and won't work with UK Files. I think I know what happened to Dad's program disks only they are 200 miles away! Ho Hum!
I have a feeling there is a way of importing money files into excel - if you google around you may find some details

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279274

may be a good starting point
Ethel - I'm wondering here, but couldn't OpenOffice read those files? Just a thought ...
Not as far as I know, but it's worth Androcles giving it a go, or at least asking on the OpenOffice forum - they really are excellent.
