why is it just me getting in trouble?
Back in november me & my fiance went out for a meal as i just got a new job & my fiance had just returned from a 6mnth tour of iraq, we had a little to much to drink & this resulted in us having an arguement which was silly.
whilst we were arguing a group of 5 people (3 men & 2 women) interviened & we said that we were fine and asked them to leave us alone maybe not in the politist of manners but we were arguing and tensions were high.
anyway one thing led to another and the lads in the group set about my fiance which resulted in him getting a broken a nose from being head butted & being kicked on the floor. meanwhile i felt threatened & ended up fighting with one of the girls, one of the men in the group also smashed my phone in the road. The police came & at first they referred to us as the victims & then we got arrested for affray and bailed. i have now been charged with abh and have to go to court. its made me ill and im constantly worrying about what might happen to me & why these other people aren't being punished also. i would like to hear peoples opinions and what they think will happen to me.

If you are lucky you'll get sent on an anger management course - sounds like you need it.
If you are unlucky you'll get a fine or a conditional discharge.

Oh dear! The demon drink again! When sober, you probably both regret getting into an argument, let alone anything more. I suppose your punishment'll depend on how your case is put over, and how sympathetically you're judged, but there's too much of this sort of thing happening. I hope things don't turn out too badly for you, but I think you and your fiance need to learn your drinking limits, or get anger management, sorry.
