I have made an appointment with a mortgage advisor for next Wed but in the meantime can anyone give me some advice on what my options are please. My current mortgage is for just under 123,000 but this is in 4 parts. When I bought my first house I borrowed 40,000, then when moved to a bigger house borrowed another 114,000 ish, then another 10,000 on top of that and finally got an additional 5000 to make it up to that figure in total! All parts of the mortgage are on different fixed rates and the first part is coming to an end on 1st March so needs re arranging fast. The additional 10,000 we borrowed also comes to an end in July this year too. Will I be able to transfer all these parts and put it into one lump sum so I know where I am and is doing this with an offset mortgage a good idea? The mortgage is with the Yorkshire Building Society if that helps.
