Eye tests

I hate eye tests, when you have to say which image is the clearest. I usually find that from the choice of the 2 or 3 lenses, they are so close together in sharpness I can hardly say which is the best. Is there not another method of testing eyesight?

Insist the opthalmologist goes with you at your pace. Ask to be shown again, and if you can't tell much differnce say so. They just sometiimes get a bit bored and their minds wander but their generally OK when you remind them that you are a person.

lol I'm the same lyn, I always feel like I am just guessing and they are going to shout at me "HA! caught you out, those last 2 were the same!"

They always seem to inspect my eyes close up very thoroughly, with the opticians face right up close to mine.

One time it was a female optician, and though she was not much of a looker she smelt very feminine. I could feel her breath on my face for ages, and it was not unpleasant!

Imagine my disappointment next time when little fat guy waddled out and called my name.

Lol Panic, ... I too had a similar experiance ,a low buttoned blouse was thrust into my face ...it ..it ..it was great ....

At specsavers now they have electronic testers, not the old slot joke specs they used to have ....lol
