i booked a holiday over the phone and was apparently read some terms and conditions in relation to the 1 reduced deposit i paid. i have since had the booking confirmation, T&Cs etc sent to me and a remittance which mentions nothing about the deposit i paid, any specific T&Cs around it or a specific cancellation. i now wish to cancel and they are saying i owe them the full deposit of 120 pp. the terms and conditions i have say nothing about a reduced deposit and if i cancel needing to pay the usual deposit. if they DID (which i dont recall) read them to me over the phone and i said yes and they have this recorded, would this stand? if they didnt record the convo or didnt explain, i am clear arent i?
