calcium deposits..

recently been diagnosed with calcium deposits on both shoulders.......very painful.. called calcific tendonitis....... a form of artheritis.. gotta go see a muscular skeletal specialist soon...... and start physio for impingement........ can anyone tell me what treatment could be.? scared of thought of surgery to remove calcuim deposits.. its rather a lot and hydrocortisone dont help but im slowly very gradually losing mobility in shoulders... very frustrating...
