csa liability order

i have recently been sent a court summons for a liability order for non payment of arrears, mounting to �4700. even though i,ve been paying 40.00 a week standing order and 15.00 a week direct from my wages, what happens at court for such an order to be made, and is there anyway of avoiding it, i have emailed csa and willing to pay more but i,ve had no reply, i,m obviously worried sick about what might happen.
