how long will my boyfriend have in prison for attempting to wound someone plus carrying an offensive weapon in a public place, however he did not harm anyone. he has been found guilty on both charges, and is now waiting to be sentanced in a few weeks. we would like a rough idea on how long he will have. any one got any ideas. thanks x

he did this as he got beat up earlia in the nigh and was very hurt and upset by this, he was frightend. he was charged with attemping to wound and carrying an offensive weapon... i dont need any sly remark thanks, i understand what he done was wrong i am just asking a question.

XabX: If he has a criminal record he will probably get sentenced to 2 years and serve half of that. If he has no criminal record he'll get a slap on the wrists and 200 hours community service at the most.
