violent disorder??

there had been abit of a fewd going on for afew months at my bets friend ex's mums house.
i had a call from him on 11/05/2008 to invite me round to talk about and sort the problem out.
i said i would be round but due to many runs in before and his potential to be violent and the fact that he has to on numerous occasions commit himself to fulbourn mental hospital i took a friend with me for moral support and incase there was any problems.
when we arrived it was evident that he had other plans, almost immediately he became hostile, i asked why he wouldnt talk and it was then he picked up a short length of wooden curtain pole and seems to act really like some-one possesed. yhe came flying down his hallway swinging the curtain pole from side to side, during which he broke glass in his living room door. when he realised what he had done he started to kick his front door and then used abusise laungage and said he he was going to ring the police. a friend of mine who's friend stood on the path outside his house had by now come into the garden and poked his head in the guys window asking why he was being an idiot as i had only come round to talk to which the guys reply was to try and hit him with the curtain pole, which was then grabbed out of his hand and thrown to the ground outside, then the guy threw his house phone at the windows. by then i decided it was best to leave and did so. 11pm that ngiht the police arrived at my home address and arrested me for voilent disorder?? and said the guys house we had been to had said we can with base ball bats and used threatening laungage which i may add none of us did.??i went to his house under invitation, it seemed like he had something planned all along especially as on the 9/05/2008 he threatened me with voilence and said he was going to stitch me up outside out local wilco motorist store? what can i do? im on police bail until the 20/06/2008

surely you must be the stupidest person ever? (barring those that go on jeremy Kyle) someone threatens yu (you dont say how he is related to you is it your best friends exes mum's rabbits babysitter?) and then a few days later you go round there at his invitation, dont even leave when he starts coming at you with a curtain pole, and even then dont even call the police?
Actually i have had an dea on what you can do - go on jeremy kyle!
