Hi all. I have a Phoenix Gas pre pay meter in my new rented flat. I've been having problems with it (very high cost), but now it won't switch on. I put another 5 on the card yesterday, and it registered in the meter, but still, there is no ignition. It's got 2 buttons, one red on the left, and one black on the right. To open the gas, it says to press and hold the black button until the beep, which I have been doing. No change though! My boiler is flashing 2 green and 1 red light.
I tried switching it off and on, no change. I tried pressing the ignition button, no change. What can I do??? My landlord came yesterday and said to call Phoenix but they are closed until monday!
I've had no hot water since lyesterday, help!!!

And what make and model of boiler have you got and do you have any other gas appliances like a gas fire or a gas cooker or gas hob ?

Hi! The make is BIASI and the model is M96.24SM/B.

I only have gas shower and heating, everything else is electric.
This is an automatic ignition boiler and if it fails to light for any reason (no gas) for example then it will go into lock out mode indicated by the lockout light, the one marked with a flame and a line through it the second one next to thecontrol knob. The boiler needs to be reset by pressing the reset button which is the one next to the lock out indicator. then run a hot tap and providing there is now gas available then it should light. You may need to try this two or three times untill the gas comes through to the burner. It will also not light if the pressure has dropped below 0.5 bar and the pressure may need topping up to 1 bar.
