my husband keeps getting phone calls beginning with the number 0001 and does not want to answer them because we think they might be foreign and he will get charged. any one know what country they could be from and can they be blocked.also they text and leave a voicemail but you cant hear anything.

I think 0001 is the international code for the USA. If they are ringing him, he won't get charged.

never heard of a number like that but best to play safe and not to answer. probably is a scam.

Type the number in google and see what it comes up with - I was getting numbers phoning me so I typed the number in google and it introduced me to a site called something like 'who calls you' whereby people who have answered the call let you know who it was - hope that makes sense!
