How much holiday entitlement does this work out to?

lady here has 25 days holiday, works 9-5 with hour for lunch. On May 1st she was allowed to work 4 days a week and reduced her holiday entitlement to 20 days a year but she had already taken 7.5 days. How much is left for her? Anyone? Its doing my head in.

I would disagree with Zacmaster�s calculation � but by chance his answer is near enough correct.

Prior to the change of terms & conditions(as at 30th April) she had earned 25 x 4 / 12 = 8.33 days holiday.
From 1st May until the end of the year, her holiday entitlement is 20 x 8 / 12 = 13.33 days.

Therefore her total annual holiday entitlement (on a pro-rata basis) works out to 21.66 days.
Since she has taken 7.5 of these days, her holiday balance = 14 days (near enough).

Using Zacmaster�s logic, if she had already taken 25 days holiday (100%) he would consider it all fair & square, whereas in actual fact she would have taken an extra 3.33 days more than she is entitled to.
