forgot to mention 10 out 12 residents had to sign an agreement so they could stay in there homes without being threatened by our petty and pathetic housing officer with eviction.they signed it as all scared why i dont no.

What does it say in your tenancy agreement? Is there something in that ?

I cannot believe you are not allowed to drink in your own back garden or leave toys out overnight. Blimey, do they send the clothes police if you leave washing on the line?

If there is nothing in your tenancy agreement I would phone head office saying ' I believe you have changed or up-dated the tenancy agreements I don't appear to have received my new copy please could you send me one'

If they deny any changes explain about the childrens toys and the ban on drinking, don't mention music, and see what they say , Do ask for your name to be with-held if they propose to take any action against their employee

Can you listen to your music through ear phones? it can be annoying if neighbours don't like the choice of music.

You've put it in legal so I assume you want a legal answer.
It is nothing to do with the police, unless a breach of the peace is likely to occur - as a result of it (as per police being called to all-night parties).
It could be to do with the local authority, who could decide to use the nuisance legislation to serve you with an ASBO.
It could be in breach of your conditions as a tenant of the housing association - you would have to look in the agreement to see what any wording said. The HA would certainly have to warn you in writing first, but a continued breach could lead you your eviction.
That's the legal answer - but we are all different and what offends one person doesn't another. Perhaps just ask yourself whether it is worth pursuing this line of 'what are my rights' .
