Disclosing Convictions
I have a convition for assualt and received a community service order and a fine. My rehabilitation period of 5 years is 'up' in Feb 09 and will no longer have to disclose this conviction. However I recently had a conviction for a speeding offence and received a fine and 3 points on my licence. I know this is a criminal conviction but will I have to continue disclosing my first offence after the rehabilitation period was due to be completed?? All help and advice most welcome. Thanks.

Therefore the rehabilitation period for your original offence is automatically extended until 5 years after the date of your conviction for speeding:
