My son's present girlfriend is receiving threats by text message and phone from his previous girlfriend some as nasty as saying they are going to slit her throat (this was made from a witheld no). We know how vindictive she is as she has made charges against our son on Section 39 and he is being charged with this when we know most of what she says is fabrication?

This is a criminal offence and should be reported to the police without delay. Do not delete any of the text messages.

That would be impossible for my son to do this as she has already had him locked away for a week but thanks for the vote of confidence!

We have all the text messages from his ex girlfriend's phone which can be traced back to her which we have passed onto the solicitor and police and when she telephoned from a witheld number twice yesterday we were actually outside the prison and there were 3 witnesses who heard her threats. Police are coming this evening to take more details, so obviously even my son could not pull a stunt like that even if he wanted to
I have a friend who's going through something similar - I told her to report it to the Police, never answer her mobile when the other person was calling (the calls are then recorded and can be used as evidence) and save all the text messages. Funnily enough, the Police told her the same thing.
