Of course we can't.

That is why he is here.

Surely the people of this country should have the right to protection for themselves and there children the same as in other countries ?

The best way would be not to let him in !

How would you react if he set up home in your street ?
He has a British passport. The fact that people don't want him here is neither here nor there.
He cannot be refused entry to his own country.

I wouldn't care a hoot about GG living next to me - he is far less danger than the paedophiles every one of lives near to and knows nothing about.
No-one is denying he is scum, but he is high profile scum - his kiddy fiddling days are over while he is here.

Never mind paedo's, there are plenty more people who I would also not like to see here, basically anyone who interferes with anothers right to live in peace and safety.

That said, I do hope we don't end up paying to protect him as he as asked - football clubs have to pay for policing, and given that he has a few bob still, he should pay. If he doesn't want to then he should be given the choice to stay in an offenders hostel or something, take it or leave it.
I think we have a duty to the rest of the world to let him in and stop him travelling.

I agree with Ethel, he is no risk, compared with the anonymous ones.

We hardly need supervise him at public expense - the press will do it for free.
UK lets almost anyone in at these days no matter whether they have a UK passport or not, why would they turn away one of their own, he has to go somewhere!
Where would you want him to go? He's British, how can we force another country to take him on?
GG is no risk in this country

perhaps we should look at these far Eastern Countries where there is a known child sex trade and parents sell their children to the highest bidder
