I live next door to a working man's club, last year the chairman informed us that they were to build a wall on the boundary between us as the smoking ban was coming into force and that the smokers were to be using the area right next to my back garden. They built the wall 6 feet high for our privacy, obviousy we were happy with this, but now we have the problem that their members keep climbing the wall to peer over into my garden, this is a concern as I have 2 children who play in the garden and also a dog that is less than amused with these strangers. I am going to be writing a strong letter into the club but wanted to know if I have any legal rights to privacy etc that I can threaten them with.
Many thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

Did think of the sprinkler idea but in this day and age I'd probably be sued for ruining someones best suit or something. Teram, great idea but a bit ugly looking for me, I have planted 3 fast growing honeysuckles so next year I hope not to have too much of a problem. When this started earlier in the year I shouted the paedo word around loudly and that seemed to stop it but now it's started up again.

Tell the Secretary of the club that, unless steps are taken to protect your privacy, you will apply to the Council for a review of the Club Premises Certificate on the grounds of Protection of Children and Public Nuisance. This gives you the weight of law and you will be prefectly within your rights to do so. The ball is then in their court.
