employment agencies

i recently registered with an employment agency as i am looking for work mon - thur and i am willing to work days, nights etc and i dont mind getting my hands dirty. i can not work fri - sun as i already have a job where fri - sun is my contracted shift but i am avaliable for work mon - thur.
i have worked in the steel industry for the past 15 years and i have been employed by the same company. i have worked my way up to weekend manager but i am still very much hands on as and when required i.e loading lorries with the crane etc.
i have a number of qualifications i.e; logistics, computer literacy, overhead crane, forklift, first aid, kinetic lifting, health & safety, p.u.w.e.r, appraisal training etc and also i hold my nvq 2 in allied operations, nvq 3 in leadership and nvq4 in managment.
when i registered with the agency they said they didnt think that they would be able to offer me anything as i can only work 4 days per week and i am over qualified and not really the sort of employee they would be looking for as they would not be able to offer me anything as my qualifications command a higher rate of pay than they are willing to pay.
i was a bit offended by their comments as i explained that im not looking for mega money, all i am looking for is some part time work mon - thur to help with the credit crunch. i dont think that is to much to ask for.
does anyone know of any websites/companies that i can post my cv to so that employers can see it. ive heard of one called monster but im not sure on how to go about it..
any ideas?
