How would i go about getting a new probation officer?

My uncle is in prison and has just been transfered to another prison, But needs to know how he can get a new probation officer, He is due to be released next year and he doesn't want to go back to his previous town as there is nothing there for him so coming closer to his family, He's was told he would need to get a new officer or he would have to go there to do his probation afterwards, How would i go about getting him a new officer so he doesn't have to go back to his old place?

you can contact your local probation service and request to see a officer,but usually his old probation officer would transfer his file over for him to a office in the area that he would be moving to on his release.get him to do this for him .
