car insurance declaring points
hi just looking for a bit of advise my girlfriend has just been involved in a car accident which maybe her fault we have been on to our insurance company to advise them of the accident the policy has just recently been renewed automatically stating we have 14days to make any alterations.she has just had 3points recently added to her licence and has 3 more points just to come off in november with both not being declared should i ring the insurance company and tell them with me having 14days to make changes and if i do will it affect my claim especially if the accident is my girlfriends fault will the insurance company try and void the policy so they dont have to pay(the car is a write off) any help and advise would be very much appreciated we dont know what to do

However, you should inform the insurance company of all points on the licence - it will probably affect the premium, but if you don't tell them it could cause problems with any claim she makes.
