Do faulty window seals constitute a mechanical fault. The buyer of my old house is looking for a Grand even though i declared that the windows were 14 years old. My lawyer reckons the seals are not part of the mechanics of the windows. Where do i stand in Scots law on this one. I would appreciate any advice from people with a similar tale. Thanks in advance.

Don't know but you could phone your local double glazing firm amd ask them.
Mechanical would suggest a moving part, therefore a seal would not be construed as mechanical.
