I've finally got my broadband back after moving and am a very very happy me :)
Horrible outside in Manchester, ventured out this morning to pick up my wireless box from the main post office (I told them it wouldn't fit through the letterbox!) then felt a bit energetic and walked into town.
Ended up helping some lost chinese kids who had bought the wrong bus ticket to get to Old Trafford and was running around trying to find non-existent bus inspectors!
Treated myself to a fresh sausage bun from the Bowland people at the Manchester Famers market and Cafe Nero and now back home (after an amusing moment stood on the tram platform with the ex's ex wife) in the warm with a happy cat playing in all the packaging from the b/band :)
I'm quiet cold now I'm sat down, decided to walk into town earlier the long wayround via the post office and got really warm but am cold now I'm back and sat down.
Hi Jenna honey , it's really wet and windy here , trying to keep the doors shut but the dogs won't settle .
Can't put the central heating on much with the cost of fuel today .
xxxxx
I'm cold as well, hubby currently driving home from Bolton in the pouring rain. Going over to Fleetwood to watch an amateur dramatics production tonight. That would have been ok but got mixed up when booking and the performance we wanted to see was last night.
Bought a new mobile phone this morning so will spend most of the weekend trying to work out how to use it.
Bowland sausages are fab, all I had for breakfast was 2 slices of toast and a cup of very weak coffee.
Hi jenna - glad to got your broadband sorted out - makes all the difference.
I have just got back from looking after various rabbits and cats and then taking the elderly mother shopping. Had a nice sandwich for lunch and debating whether to tackle the ironing mountain now.
It was lovely here earlier but turned very cloudy. I bet Heathcliffe is in heaven with all that packaging to play with - you'll have to get some photos.
I love the Bowland stuff, it was early and I'd had no breakfast when I walked past and was pretty cold as had walked from salford quays up to the main post office then into town then run around trying to find a bus inspector as above, I just had to have one and it was gorgeous :)
Colin has had an MOT and is basically okay but may have a bit of grass lodged behind his soft palette. ewww! if he gets worse I have to take him back for a general anaesthetic, but they're not worried about him.
apart from that we went to my friend's for dinner last night. today I took my daughter shopping (painful!) and have just had crab-sticks in a baguette for lunch. Colin had a crab-stick, too.
