If charged you will be more than likely be charged with being an accessory given what your friend has said. If charged, see a solicitor as soon as you can
S'pose you could be seen as an 'assessory' but its thin ice for a prosecution.
your story is a bit confused. What did you join a queue for if you had nothing on you shopping wise?
even if they charge you, plead not guilty and fight it.
I agree with bednobs. The story doesn't seem to make sense.
- Why did you join the queue?
- Why did your friend come back? Or had she already been stopped by security?
- Why did you need to tell the manager anything?

Have you told us everything?
Maybe she means 'nothing hidden' on me?

Just a thought - the English doesn't look good so maybe it's her first language?

Thankyou for your answers i want to clear the q matter up , I had pens and a magazine in my hand , so i stood in a small q while looking for her, she had a whole trolly full of stuff and i felt sure she had gone to pay when i saw her come though the exit door with out her trolly she saw me, asked me to explain about her tablets i left the pens ans magazine on the newspaper stand and went to try to help her cos she was in a state, when the manager would not liston it was then she tuened on me and said i had told her to do it,.
also after been taken awayand place in a cell for 4 hours question and looked upon as dirt, the police ofered to take us back to my car which was at sainsbury car park , on the way there the police man told her how it was my fault that she had not just been cautioned because i refused to addmit to any thingI said nothing and listioned as they chatted about me going to court he tokld her that it was although she had been cautioned before for shop lfieting it was ok and not to worry, when he stoped she asked me to give her a lifet home she them kicked and punched me, and swore at me, as the police man opened my car door i nearly fell out with the force of her push i asked him to arrested her for assult he said he had saw nothing ,please help i am so confursed
Question Author
yes she had already been stoped and had told them i had the recite for the shoping , which she new was a lie, thats why they allowed her to come back into the shop and find me while they stayed with her shoping. when i refused to give her a lit home she kicked and punched me , the police said he saw nothing, i feel so alone yet i have done nothing
Hmmm, not I think you are on a wind up
They sat in the car and the policeman told her you would be the one to court and not her?
He stood by and let her assault you in his presence whilst you got out of a police car?
Something not quite right here
if you didn't steal anything you have not been shoplifting. It seems highly unlikely they would charge you with being an accessory to a crime when they are not charging anyone with the crime in the first place. The shop probably has cameras that recorded what you were doing, so that should prove your innocence.
windy123 ........ AKA Vicky Pollard?
LOL Mad Butcher. Just what I was thinking !

why do some of you not belive me, what i have told you is what happened , i need advise myself and her are on bail till the 8th of november, every thing i have told you happened ,even you people do not belive me , I am a mother , and 45 years old not a daft teenager and this has really upset me, as i never thought a friend could be so nasty , plus i always belived in the honsety of the police
I am so confused as to what to do . Please belive me this is not a joke and it is all true
Can you not see how hard it to believe a police officer did not see someone, in your words, kicking and punching you as you got out a police car? Did you not shout, scream say stop? Or did you just lay on the ground whilst she did it? Either way I fail to see how the officer did not see anything. Can you also not see that it is hard to beleive the officer also told your 'friend' in front of you it would be you in court and not her? For the record it is not down to the officer who 'ends up in court' if is a matter for the CPS to decide - the officer will have no say in that.

Also, the lack of proper words, capital letters and grammar make you appear to be someone a lot younger than 45 - there are many wind ups on here you understand. Your story is pretty far fetched by anyone's imagination, so you must understand the speculation about your post

See Richard1966 - he advises you seek a solicitor and I will advise the same

To be honset the last thing on my mind is my grammer, we can not all be perfect.
No I did not lie on the floor I was getting out of the car with my back to her as soon as she kicked and pushed me I told the police man who said he had seen nothing cos he was looking around the car park , he did discuse the case with her whilst we were on the way back to my car, and to be honset I was shocked ,as i did not think this was aloud, you are not been helpful , i am not asking you to read in to my words just look at the facts(not grammer, full stops) I thought this would be a good place to get advice , it seems i was wrong, what i said happened did happen i do not care how far fetched it seems it is the truth, thanks for your pointless remarks which to be honset are rather childish.
You have been given help it's just not what you want to hear - see a solicitor and if you answer people's questions you may find you get other advice and help too - but no more from me

*pokes out tongue in childish manner*
Am I correct in thinking that 1 police officer gave you and your friend a lift back to your car?

This in itself is a breach of police procedure as 2 officers should be present not just one.

In theory you and your friend could both cry rape and then the officer wouldnt have a leg to stand on.

As it is I would make a complaint against the officer for their actions and what was said and even for forcing you into a situation where you were at risk from injury.

That should p*ss them off a bit and you never know and if they did breach procedures may even get you both off, doubtful but at least the officer (who was in the wrong) will get in trouble too
