Grandchildren's inheritance

My grandmother died recently leaving one son and two grandchildren,leaving a lot of money. Her son coerced her into leaving everything to him, which I know was against her wishes. Can the grandchildren contest this in Scottish law?

Wills can be contested but tis a long and very expensive road.

Loser pays costs; so it could be worth it if the g.children have evidence to prove their stake i.e. Docs notes/witness statments.

How old are you Jen? I would suggest that you and your brother / sister visit your local CAB who should be able to point you in the right direction. If you are under 18 then I think maybe rules are different for contesting the will - has your father put it into trust for you?

(Have I read that question right - if your grandmother has two grandchildren then you must be one of them?)
