working conditions laws???

i know when your working there are laws regarding working temperatures i.e being to hot etc but i work in a residential home and the heating goes off at 10pm, comes on at 5am flippin freezin in between. whats the laws re minnimum temp at work in an office etc

i think the minimum temp is 14 or 15 degrees (cant quite remember) I don't think there is a maximum
