threatening a traffic warden

just after exchanging words with a traffic warden in my area,told him i would kick his teeth down his throat if i got another ticket...now i feel sick with worry and am sorry for the outburst..he allready gave me 1 last week..i phoned his office earlier to apologise and promised it wouldnt happen again..the guy manager of the agency who employ wardens said it should b ok and he would phone through to some other office and speak to them.when the warden was walking away he as writing verything down what i said to him...im going out of my mind with worry now that the police will knock on my door and arrest me...wifes 6 mth pregnant and i feel ive let her down by my temper...

hiya, not sure what your question is - are you looking for reassurance you will not be arrested for threatening behaviour?

TBH, although reprehensible, i doubt many people phone up to apologise, and if tw's got everyone arrested who abused them, the police would be very very busy

Don't fret! You didn't lay hands on him and you've since done a lot more than others who threaten a warden, whether then and there or as to the future, would have done! As bednobs says, if wardens took seriously everything they were told the police would be very busy.

I suggest it depends on whether you had breached parking regulations and the warden was intending to issue a ticket. If the warden claims he was unable to issue a ticket because of your threat of violence it may be you'll hear more about this

You'll probably be ok. What concerns me is that you seem to be annoyed at a Warden for something you did. Or are you saying that you where properly parked and the Warden was out of order?

I woundn't worry just yet, everybody gets uptight now again and decent people make allowances for it, heat of the moment and all that. If it makes you feel any better, I was once ticketed by a WPC who claimed, that because my bumper was overhanging the zig-zag lines that I was parked within the limits of a zebra crossing. My wheels were actually beyond the lines. She gave me a 'producer' and I told her to go and f**k herself. She walked away and I heard no more about it.
