mortgage split 3 ways
if 3 people purchased a house between them and only 2 of them spent any money on the maintenance/upkeep/general repairs etc. over the 25 years . As an when the house was sold could they make a deduction from the 3rd persons profit of the sale?
Unfortunately they were given bad advice at the begining and no agreements/contracts were put in place to cover anything like this .

basically all the 3rd person has done is pay there 3rd of the mortgage and has not contributed a penny to anything else..
the mortgage is nearly finished and they are considering selling ,the other 2 people involved are annoyed that in terms of cash they have invested far more in the property and would like to try and at least get some of it back

thats the problem no agreements in place, they really didnt get any legal advice at the beginning seeing as a solicitor sorted the mortgage it seems odd.
To be honest i think its going to be more hassle than its worth..Its just annoying someone who has invested approx �12,000 and ended up no more than a lodger stands to gain �80,000
