Re: Revoked Will.
To Barmaid : We instructed a STEP Solicitor as mentioned in my communication 8/1/09, who wrote to my wife's aunt's solicitor pointing out that a will could not be revoked by a telephone call. Her solicitor has responded that his client had visited his office, and that he had destroyed it in her presence. Yet when my wife asked him earlier about the matter, he stated that he could not remember, and would have to look it up. The executor was adamant that it was done by a telephone call, but now he states that he is not sure, and that she may have called in. It seems that something or somebody has changed his mind. However, our solicitor, states that he can only accept the other solicitors word without question, and that unfortunately that is the end of the matter, and regards the will as been lawfully revoked. Please let me have your comments and advice. Thanking you.
