hi,how do i or my daughter go about getting id as she turns 18 years old in two days time ,she has a passport her photo is 4 years old,i did think u could get something from the post office send of the form and u get like a credit card size id,the post office however has told my daughter she can only get a id with a prov driving licence costing 50 pounds and she does not intend to start driving at the mo seems crazy,i also dont like the idea her carrying her passport around every where, any advice i would be so gratefull thank you.

hi,she has a party on saturday and her photo on the passport does not. look like her now, all so her boyfriend has his passing out parade in march and she need id to get in the barracks.

i would imagine that most people who accept passports as a form of ID will take into account a person of that age changing in appearance
