a friend of mine took her driving test yesterday and made a mess of the first manouver, she asked him if she had falied and he said yes, so she said we may as well go back now then, and he said if we do we have to lock the car and walk back to the test centre, or carry on with the test. i didnt think they were allowed to tell you through the test if you had failed?
thats not true. if you commit a "dangerous fault" the examiner has NO CHOICE but to tell you you failed ans walk back to the test centre, so yes, they can tell you during the test you have failed
Admitedly my first test was in 1976. I was nervous, I made silly mi stakes, and I knew I failed not long into the test. Neither of us said as such, but it was obvious.
However, taking that test fully prepared me for what to expect with test 2, so I had less nerves, knew more what to expect, and passed.
Your friend was silly to just walk. (if she did) and the examiner was following procedure.
